On the Move

Des is starting to get dangerously close to hitting some big milestones. He was started to move on his own! So far he can only pivot around on his belly to get things he wants but sometimes he is able to move backwards too- once the forward movement starts, then we will be in trouble. Matt bought him his first soccer ball and I told him that it was probably the worst idea he has ever had....Des loves it and I know it will be the impetus to crawling.

He is also getting close to being able to sit up by himself. He can sit in the boppy for a long time and can do short bursts without any support. But then he gets distracted and falls over.

This picture is a few weeks old, he is even fatter now!
