There are just some things in life you have to experience for yourself to really understand. Some of these things are good (like how you feel on your wedding day and how fast is really goes) and some not so good (how bad it hurts to have a root canal). I think the mother load of all experiences that someone can't really be describe to you is being pregnant. Here are a few things that I had heard about but I didn't really get until they happened to me but now that they have, I totally get what everyone has been talking about.
1) The first trimester nausea and exhaustion really, really suck. I always thought, "Oh yeah, that won't be fun but I will just pull myself up by my boot straps and be fine." That is hilarious to me now, I really thought I would have control over my body- what an idiot!
2) "It is kind of like being tickled on the inside. "It is kind of like bubbles popping." "It is kind of like a fish swimming in your belly." These are just a few description of what it feels like to have a baby move inside you- NONE of them do it justice. It is both the most amazing and weirdest thing ever. Especially when he sticks he little butt up in the air while getting himself situated....very alien like! And I am just getting started!
3) No one could have described to me how much I would love this baby boy. I can't believe how much I love him already and it is hard to comprehend how much more I am going to love him after I meet him.
So glad you're getting to experience all of these wonderous things; some not so fun, and others absolutely amazing!
